I’m doing an AMA video. A ROGD parent requested I do one & I hope others find value in it. Ftr, I have no credentials. I have simply been studying Gen Z online culture, gender dysphoria & associated sexology/psychology, & other cultural forces that enabled the trans phenomenon for a few years now & therefore have insights others with more narrow focuses don’t.
After your experience and all you know do you ever think hormones/surgeries still appropriate for anyone? If this was never a possibility like in the past..people coped.
Hey Aaron! I've been watching Transparency for a while now and always love insight from you and Aaron Kimberly, probably some of the best stuff I've heard about the gender debate for a long time now. Got a few questions:
1) When I listened to your interview on Heterodorx, you mentioned that there is currently a cohort of individuals who transition due to ideology/religion and you're unsure on what will snap them out of the haze. Assuming the tide turns regarding gender ideology in the next 10 or 20 years, do you think that these people will move onto the next big "cult" movement or will they just make peace with their medicalisation and just continue to live their lives like normies?
2) This is pretty personal, but what made you settle on the name Aaron? Were there any other guy names you considered?
When do you plan to do it? Are you gathering questions in advance for a recorded video?
I would like to ask if you are aware of the work of researchers Prof VS Ramachandran, Gooren and Zhou, Dr Milton Diamond or Professor Julie Bakkar on organic brain function and transsexualism?
I am a published author on the subject of 'Trans Identity'.
You're still young. Go get some credentials. You're a great thinker and writer, but your lack of training occasionally trips you up, and also makes you overly ambitious at times, like with that AGP piece.
If this work is your mission, you will be at least 50% more effective with credentials to go with your experience.
